This page describes a little what's behind the Star Link work - what its base is.

From the symbolic point of view, the work has a firm foundation, just as the upward-pointing triangle has a firm base. In one sense, the base is simply love, love for all things. But you may well want to know more about the organisation that began StarLink. That organisation is called The White Eagle Lodge. It was founded in Britain in 1936 and is now a worldwide organisation. 'Lodge' is a term borrowed from the North American tradition: it just means a community dwelling.

StarLink is intended to stand on its own. You don't have to connect with the White Eagle Lodge at all in order to participate in your own way in StarLink. The White Eagle Lodge website however, can be accessed below, and postal information sent on request. Among the White Eagle publications is a wonderful book about the Star, called The Book of Starlight, based on White Eagle's words.

Every triangle rests on a base, but the Star rests upon a single point. Thus the work of StarLink is carried on with the minimum of organisation!
